10 Weeks to Go!

We had a second ultrasound today. Little man is healthy and growing steadily. He is right on track measuring in at 29 weeks and 4 days (Wednesday will be 30 weeks even). He weighs in at approximately 3 lb 1 oz. He has 10 fingers and 10 toes and HE is still a boy (Keith had to make sure). He has already turned so he is head down which explains the change in where I feel him kick. He looked so cute and I love him more everyday and am getting very anxious to meet him.

The only 4D photo we got. His face was hidden by the cord, but it is a good shot of him arms.

His cute little face is filling out.

Cute little toes.

Baby Bump Pics...Finally!

Sorry it has taken me so long to get these pics up. I have been sick with a cold for the last week and before that you know how life just gets in the way. Anyway, everything has been going good with Sterling. He is kicking up a storm and I am just thankful that he hasn't woken me up at night yet. I love feeling him move and am getting more anxious everyday to meet him. Keith has only been able to feel him move once but he is not very patient about waiting for it. Hopefully I can be more consistent now.

It's A Boy!!

Keith and I went for our ultrasound a couple weeks ago. It definitely made this whole experience feel more real. There definitely is a baby in there and he was very active during the scan which was neat to see. He was turning somersaults and kicking all over. I haven't really felt the movement yet but I am sure I will soon. We definitely wanted to know the sex if we could and for about half of the scan he was shy but then he gave us a great view and Keith was very, very pleased! So we are having a boy!

15 Weeks and Counting

Just thought I would post an update. As of today we are 15 weeks and 3 days pregnant. We had our second check up at 14 weeks. Our little one was more cooperative and we were able to faintly hear the heartbeat. It sounded very distant like our little one has camped out at the far end of its home. But it was there, we both heard it and the doc said it was running about 140 beats per minute. We also received our appointment for our ultrasound. We will be going on December 4th and hope to find out a more accurate date and if our little one is a him or a her.

In other news, this past week was Keith's 29th birthday. I surprised him with a get together of friends and my family. We said he was actually surprised and we both enjoyed our time with our friends who were able to be there! So we took a couple pics that evening before we went to dinner.

No tell-tale bumb yet. =)

12 Week Checkup

Well, we had our first OB appointment today with our doctor. We were excited to hear our baby's heartbeat for the first time today but as it turns out, our child is already stubborn. The doctor spent about 10 minutes listening for the heartbeat but was only able to hear about 2 beats at a time. He was able to hear my heartbeat though which he said would be the placenta. This means that the placenta is in the front of my uterus and the baby is hiding behind it. The doctor is not concerned at all though because everything else is going well and my uterus is the right size. So, we get to go back in two weeks, instead of the usual 4, to try to hear the heartbeat again. Pray that our little one will be a little more cooperative next time!
